So let me start by saying...I've been busy as crap with work.  Then I'd like to add, that I NEVER enter contests.  Because I just get frustrated.  However...Then this sort of happened, and I'm good now!

This is my first drawing for Deviantart's Mythological creature contest (Link below).  When it comes up to voting I'll be spamming my entries to have a chance, maybe!  Yes I'm just good for the humans but...That's okay.  Most mythological creatures ARE human-based in structure.

Been Busy, but Did Something!

So, it started as Mario saving Rapuzel from the 'wrong' castle.

Then I realized, the French ALSO have a castle.

And the French won out in the end.

I have the weekend off, and if I had a large enough tub, this is totally how I would spend all of it.

Pi Day! 3.14

So...since its Pi day, I feel I should draw something related to that.  So heres Brie.  With Pie.  I...go mad at it, so this is as far as I got.  Maybe I'll finish it later, or do a total re-do which I'd rather.  Or start fresh with another new idea too.

Distractions

So I've been taking a slight break from hand-drawn art into the field of hand crafts.  I have a handbag nearly half-finished, and have finished a Pandora-esque necklace.

If I was to sell it (not the original, I'd make more) I would sell it for about $30-35 a pop.  Expensive?  While these beads are NOT BY PANDORA, the actual Pandora, or knock-off charms cost nearly $30 a bead.  Yea...I'm not rich.

Introducing Brie, a full-figured Dwarven girl (who in retrospect I may have still drawn on the 'thin' side) completely drunk and passed out in the Wildhammer Highlands.  For anyone confused on where that may be, look directly at the Twilight Highlands in the Eastern Kingdoms.  Tada- Brie's home.  I'm sure there's a few anatomy issues, but for the angle and all- best I can do methinks.

I choose to think ahead. Dwarves plus another holiday that involves drinking? I see my two originals Leeyra (a fiery frecklied red-head with matching fiery heart) or Brie (dark haired fat and tan Wildhammer with a drive for all things extremely dwarven) working well. They'll do nicely. Unless otherwise picked, I'll be aiming for the Wildhammer herself.

Back from vacation, and now I have a new kitten (3 cats total in this house now) So its been hectic.  And my new job starts next Monday, meaning I now have a larger consistant paycheck! (yay)  But I didn't forget you!  This is what I've got so far...

Valentines Day!

Well, as you must have heard, I'm on vacation in another state for Valentines Day with my boyfriend!  First Valentines in a long time I've gotten to see him.  But, I have a little rough-draft surprise that I can't get the lines out of...If anyone would like to do that and email me the file (you don't HAVE TO, I just don't have photoshop on vacation or anything...) feel free.

So... I'm on vacation for valentines this year. I haven't had the holiday off from working with a florist in 5 years! Unfortunately... This month has been highly unsucessful and I will br away from most computers this next week. Whats that mean? Patience I suppose, and an apology on not yet learning how to be consistsnt.

Yes, I wanted to draw on my day off and keep busy.  No it did not go as planned. Lets try again tomorrow?  Sure.

CG Color- Bad Idea

So I did all the nice inking on Twinkly....only to fall into a bit of a rut.  I can't seem to get the imagery to look the way I'd like it...I suppose part of the problem is I've gotten so used to hand-coloring, that CG is a foreign media (again).  Back to hitting the tutorials and finding my style again!

And now, for something completely different.

Well, not entirely.  But its a combo breaker.  Sorta.  Its not a bronze dragon, and its heterosexual! (yay?)  Twinkly Gearsproket with Nanakoh.  Though you can really only see the dick part and not so much the draenei body the goes with it.

So I tracked over a good long period of time...turns out, Nozdormu and Murozond were getting more hits over a shorter time period than Chromie was.  Huh, poor girl.  So she's been bumped for a moment to make way for these two...Getting their thing on...Yea.

So...rule 34!  Gotta love it.  And occasionally, you just feel the urge to help it exist.  Especially when its 2am and you finished playing Warcraft at 11 and for the love of all that is good and sane...Just can't sleep.  Perfect time to do...This!

Nozdormu and Murozond, left and right respectively.  Its like screwing with yourself.  They're the same person, Murozond is just insane and blah blah...  I seem to have not only take the gnomes as my artistic figures of choice, I think I just dragged the entire bronze dragonflight into it!  Well damn it, I'm proud of it!
