It's a work in progress kind of week.  I scanned in Ling, and paid for my copy of Paint Shop Pro, so now its time to ditz around with it!  Because I can't afford the Photoshop CS3 I know and love so much...this is a learning curve.  And with it, I decided to take on the idiotic decision of learning to paint digital fur.  I'm a moron, this I know.

The first image is when I got all the lines and flat shading down.  That...was probably a good 2-3 hours.  The next is when I got the digital fur painted in (I suggest viewing it a bit more high res, it looks nicer that way, though...not 'perfect' or anything)  I still hav ea long way to go- smoothing out colors, painting Ling's hair and tail, as well as accessories, a foreground, and at least something around the back so its not on white.  Again, I grasp the fact that I'm insane.  I estimate this to be done...ideally next week?  Ideally.

I Can Do it Better All By Myself!

Happy Valentines! Its a bit belated, and well...this wasn't the intended picture.  This was the Kevy's request, and so...Tada!  Its the first done.
Its a two parter, but this is the only part I have done so far so...We'll do storytime at a later date.  This is Amytheil, keeping herself busy.  And, its probably the most explicit picture I've done, and will likely be for awhile.  I don't know, I have more a soft spot for comedy and the like that explicit VAGINA in your face stuff.  But it was nice practice, and I really like the coloration on her!
I'm still working on some other things on the side, However my Grandfather was rushed to the ER earlier in the week, and that sort of threw a wrench into everything.  I wish him the best, and once everything passes a bit, I'll be back to more productive levels.

Valentines and the Works

So in exchange for the fancy things I get on Love Day, aka Valentines Day, I drew up some sketches.  None of which of course, are the ones that my boyfriend wants...But just happened to come out when I pitched out the ones I hated.
In all fairness, Kevy did want a picture of Darren and Amy.  This...wasn't exactly what he had in mind.  But, thanks to the works of Shia and other hentai artists, I have a thing for comic humor in my art.  Needless to say...Darren should just stick to what he knows, and not try out new things.  Scribbles in the corner are just notes to get thrown out after cleanup
Now, this Draenei may look sort of familiar.  Then again, many of my Draenei look alike.  This is the younger sister Daria, in an all grown up body.  Which is why she still has her kiddy pig tails and jumbo teddy bear.  Don't worry, her father and brother are probably having panic attacks as we speak.
And last but not least...PANDA! This is Ling, my monk Pandaren.  She's an older teen/young adult that loves one thing more than life itself - Food.  Ling was actually my Love Day picture for the masses, because heck- She's got no one.  But she has lunch.

Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

Looks like I got a bit behind on my own stuff, as far as uploading/updating here...Whoops!  Featuring two today, one from this week, and one from the last.

The first is a snippit of this week.  This is Amytheil, my druid.  The question was posed, what would happen if someone tried to eat her?  Well, after her having an apple wedged in her mouth (which she likely ate) and starting to question when dinner was ready when something was delicious smelling...
Yup.  Amytheil has quite the interesting mindset when it comes to these kinds of things.  Oh, and she's also likely being eaten by Trolls.  She has issues with them.
So this is the one I posted in partial the other day.  This is Twinkly (gnome) and Griffnix (goblin)  Mine and Kevin's respectively.  They make a cue little couple, and it was a nice gauge and test of my new coloring patterns.  I'll definitely be using it going forward as well, passed just this posting.
And my last one for the day, an in-progress of my Rogue Sandra.  She's an ex-pirate that unfortunately lacks on both curves, and height.  But she makes up for it with sass, language, and occasionally kicking someones arse around the block. I'm not sure when I'm going to get to the background, if for no other reason because the foreground is SO strong and I'm terrified to botch it. Which someone wasn't a problem with Amytheil....eh.
Perspectives a bit wonky, but I'll live with that.

----------------------------------------------------------------

And this is why I should maybe update a bit more than I do.  Also, I should probably get my own scanner...Make things happen a little more often.  More than once every Thursday when I get to use said scanner...Which almost didn't happen today because no one decided to leave the house!

New Colors

Ignore some of the quality of the photo, its a cell-phone capture.  And only half finished too...

I'm testing out a new coloring style, I think its a little more vibrant if nothing else.  Though I didn't put all the highlights and lowlights in the right places...Its a test, I can always try again.

But so far, I like it.

Double Dip

Two for the price of one today  Amytheil was a fun little thing to draw so...I drew her twice!  Amytheil is my restoration druid, hence the little antlers growing out of her head.  On the left is Darren, my boyfriends Paladin.  He was human, but through some long winded and complicated stuff, he's become a half elf.  He's also started to inherit Amy's traits through behind a half elf, including her violet skin and longer ears.

Uhh...yeah, that's about it.  I'm too tired still to think up anything else to say.  Oh!  except I'm broke as all heck.  I'm doing $5 sketch commissions, $10 if you want it all trimmed and matted.  I'm also offering the option of giving you a scan (like above) or with shipping and handling, I'll send out the actual print.

Working (in Progress)

This should be self explanatory (to a point, anyways)  I'm working on things as fast as I can with two minor restrictions.  One, I no longer have Photoshop.  But I'm going to buy paint shop and call it good (price being a very large factor as to why I am not buying Photoshop after my trial exploded)  My second restriction is that I live at home.  I don't know IF my relatives know of my art style, so I chose to only scan the tame things in life when they're present.  This means waiting days before getting a shot at the scanner.  Especially now that my sibling is freakin nocturnal.

But there's a snippit of whats going on.
